This frosting goes great with the cupcake recipe I just posted. Also from Betty Crocker.

4 C powdered sugar
1 C butter or margarine, softened
3 TBSP milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled

In a medium bowl, beat all frosting ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and spreadable. If necessary, stir in additional milk, 1 tsp at a time. Spread over cupcakes.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Diamonds aren't my best friend, chocolate is! Especially during that week of you know what!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
1 three-ounce package softened cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar.

In a small saucepan cook and stir chocolate pieces over low heat until melted; cool.
In a medium bowl stir together softened cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Stir in melted chocolate until smooth.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Oh baby this is my fave; especially on any bar recipe.

Ingredients:
2 three ounces packages of cream cheese
1/2 cup of softened butter (yep an entire cube)
2 t. vanilla
4 cups of powdered sugar

In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, softened butter & vanilla. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar; beating until smooth.

Go ahead, eat a tablespoon or two. I won't tell.

Butter Rum Frosting

This recipe makes quite a bit.
Use what you need and freeze the rest.
You can store it in the freezer for about three months.

Ingredients:
3 T. softened butter
3 cups powdered sugar (divided)
1 T rum
1t. vanilla
Milk

In a medium bowl, beat softened butter with an electric mixer on medium speed; until smooth;
Gradually add half of powdereed sugar, beating well;
Beat in rum and vanilla
Gradually beat in the other half of powdered sugar and enough milk to make a frosting of spreading consistency.
