I used egg noodles and doubled ...This was so good! I used egg noodles and doubled the amount called for. I also added a couple cloves of fresh garlic. To cut down on sodium, I used two cans low sodium and two cans regular broth. I didn't add any other salt, and used thyme, bay leaves and black pepper to season. My husband absolutely loved it and said it was exactly what he had envisioned when he said he wanted home made chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight.
